Call for an foreigner basic information
An invitation for a foreigner is a document confirming that the inviting person has adequate financial means and is able to cover the costs related to the invited person’s stay (such as food and accommodation) on the territory of Poland. On the basis of this document, the foreigner may undergo border control and apply for a visa. It is worth emphasising, however, that an invitation does not entitle to take up employment in Poland.
The period of validity of the invitation shall be determined by the invitee, but shall not exceed one year.
In order to receive an invitation, a set of documents must be submitted to the Provincial Office, including proof of sufficient financial resources and the title to the dwelling.
